Coppelia wasn't too good. Too macabre for my liking. But i like it that they used the original music by Delibes. The principal dancers are good! And all the female dancers have PRETTY feet. *omg* Can't wait for Russian ballet.
And it's appalling how ill-educated local audiences are. 14 fouettes on pointe and they are clapping. WOW. If only they knew students had to do 16 on pointe for RAD advance 2... It happened last year for Russian ballet, and c'mon, they had to keep on with the applause from the 12th one onwards till she finished 32, with a couple of doubles thrown in between. LOL.
