I just watched the finals of Prix de Lausanne '09- classical section. Omg. So many Coppelia variations la.
1 of the 7 winners- Hannah of ABS had her ribbons come out during the very 1st part of her variation of La Bayadere(my fave one, all the cabrioles), and she exited so gracefully and professionally just to tie them up again. Thank goodness the orchestra stopped playing and she was given another chance! Perhaps that was one of the reasons why she won! I like her!
