Need Somebody to Love

This girl Charmaine has neuroblastoma. Months ago, a possibly life-saving trip to New York seemed impossible. But by God's grace and the kindness and graciousness of everyone who helped in anyway, Charmaine's family and friends managed to raise half a million dollars. Now she has a much higher chance of surviving this.

This girl is amazing. And like many other children, kids are resilient. This is something i'll never deny, and something which i respect the kids for, even if they don't know what resilience means. This is why i want to help kids, though i admit that i'm held back by many other pragmatic factors.

Charmaine is a very fortunate girl who had the opportunity of media coverage and plenty of support from many. But i was thinking... 'What about the other kids who are facing similar problems and have no means to pay for treatment and opportunity at media coverage?' That is something i shudder at, and is something to cry for.

Anyhoos, Charmaine is going to New York soon after her chemo session, and i pray that the good Lord will bless and keep her. Keep her safe and healthy, and may she grow up stronger than ever.
