I actually started studying. At like what? 3rd week of school. Pigs should start flying now. Hahahaha.... I got so compelled to do so after attending the OIPP presentation. I want to go to UPenn, which has the best nursing program in US. If not, UK or Germany. But whatever it is, i need to get myself up to the top 5% of the cohort(of like 600-800 students). I think those of us shortlisted are already in top 8-10%. So it's the battle of the best. I want ALL distinctions, with the exception of Nursing Practice and Nursing Laboratory, which i have no confidence over.
News came that we're starting skills assessment for WorldSkill next week. OMFG. I have to go read and revise all my skills, which amounts to a MOUNTAIN. :( Plus pia-ing for our IV skills assessment week after. *sighsies*
I can say all i want- all the distinctions, going UPenn... But it'll never happen if i don't make it happen. YOU CAN DO IT STEPH!
Anyways, i met our W57 CI during the presentation. What a coincidence! Chatted with her while we took public transport. She's so NICE and humble! She 'looks out' for us, and i'm so glad that she's ever so willing to help us and listen us out. :) We're seeing her tomorrow again cos' she'll be in campus! :D
