Mum sponsored this $129.90 tweed coat from Zara- that's $100 off the original price! I thought i would end up with a pea coat, but i got lucky at Wheelock's Zara! :) This is size S(i think this is the only size S of all the models because everything was M and above), and it was quite roomy to be enough to comfortably fit my Uniqlo fleece jacket inside. Haha. Call me kiasu, but i have learnt my lesson in the past. I'm not gonna compromise anything! Plus i can wear junk below and still look presentable with this coat. I eyed an Esprit pea coat that fitted nicely and was very soft! Might buy if i have extra moolah. ;)
We bought a piece of luggage. I went there with the intention of getting the Roncato four-wheel luggage at half price, but we ended up with a local brand. It was cheaper, hardier and sturdier, and we felt that the wheels were safer. Sure the Roncato one looks good and can be maneuvered very easily, but the wheels could easily be knocked off during airport handling as they were not protected. And even though it was hard case, it had zippers, which wasn't ideal for long flights. So hopefully this local brand luggage won't fail us! I'm sure we'd buy Samsonite again, if only it was more affordable! The last one we had lasted 20 years!
Ok i think i'm preparing for the trip a tad too early, but i'm trying to catch the sales that's going around everywhere. Why pay the original price right? I think i'm actually done with shopping for the trip. The temperature will be about 2-9 degrees C, so i think i'm left with gloves and scarf that i already have, and probably a hat because i don't have a piece of sweater or coat that has a hood. :)
Teaching tomorrow!
