TCU, iPhone and guys.

I had the shortest and quickest follow-up visit to a doc EVER. My appointment was at 4.40pm. I went in at 4.44pm. By 5.05pm, i was out of the clinic, having done payment and making the next appointment. I was really amazed. But then again, this obgyn clinic is like the 'slackest' clinic there. If you compare the patient load with the medicine, paeds and orthopedic clinics, obgyn really has a much smaller load. Next week, rheumy TCU!!!

I like watching my blood being drawing these days, and today's nurse was so so so good! She poked the needle in with no blood backflow, and she proceeded to twist and turn the needle just to get it in. Surprisingly, there was no pain at all! Ok. I aim to make venepuncture a less painful affair when i become a staff nurse! :)


A prim and proper lady sat next to my today, when i was in the hospital lobby. She suprised me with her terrible manners while on the phone with presumably, a mobile provider operator. She said 'WHAT?' instead of perhaps the 'sorry' or 'pardon', and insisted that the other party speak clearly because she doesn't get anything that he/she is saying. All of these in a very condescending manner. Plus a whole load of bullshit and 'tsks'- she was clearly throwing a tantrum because she cannot seem to use the internet on her iPhone. How juvenile.

I have nothing much against iPhone users, but having an iPhone doesn't entitle you the right to verbally abuse the someone over the phone. iPhone SO WHAT? It's just a bloody damn phone that created a whole new societal expectation/demand- that having an iPhone makes you somewhat a superior being. No it doesn't make you superior, and everyone who doesn't want to get the iPhone probably laughs at those who give in to such societal demands. (I understand some do get the phone because of the functions. But really...) *tsk tsk*

And guys. I really don't get guys at all. Ungentlemenly and narcissistic. WOW. Guys have really brought the whole 'ant-guys' thingy a level higher.
