You know, sometimes i feel and think the same way as the female protagonist in the book 'Fistful of Colors' that we studied in JC1. Yes i must admit sheepishly that i never completely finished the book(even when we were examined during promos for this). But i know enough of the 'identity' and 'wider social forces' and 'patriarchal society' parts of the book to think like the protagonist.
What the hell. I'm turning 19, and my identity is like what. Some shit. Very clever. The more you try to figure, the more you get confused. No? Go figure steph...
And i remember Nica Sivalingam. Was there another Janice? Mark? Oh man. But i cannot for my life remember the protagonist's name. At least not now. WHY! Anyhows, Suchen Christine Lim(whatever the order of her name is la!) was never my favourite. Fina or Dan, enlighten me ok! I don't have my book with me anymore...
