Korea!

Back 2 days ago on Thursday night, but was too lazy to do any blogging. Heh. What can i say? Shopping is fantastic there. Laneige, The Face Shop, Skin Food, street markets, all at fantastic prices!!! I must have spent about $800 or more... I got sick of the food- not a big fan, and definitely not one to enjoy kimchi. For the itinerary we had, definitely more worth to go during winter!!! How to ski in summer??? :P

Photos!!!

The ODBO range from The Face Shop! Not found in SG! Amazing products! Buy 5 get 1 free. So i got 1 moisturiser, 1 exfoliant, 1 BB cream(which btw makes my face super oily... aargh), 1 compact sunblock(coolness) and 1 sleeping pack! I think i spent about S$150...

I bought this LOVELY Tiffany & Co. necklace+pendant in T2 departure hall. Cheaper than Ngee Ann City!!! OMG i heart it!!!

All the many samples i got from shopping! Skin Food, TFS, Laneige + others from the Aritaum shop like Iope etc...
Pathetic how i only bought 2 things from actual TFS... 2x 10 sheet masks. S$20 odd only! And Skin Food BB cream is like 5x cheaper there! Beat that! I actually bought 3 different BB creams!
I bought 1 set in Aritaum, and the other at the airport with leftover Korean Won. Shouldn't have bought it at Aritaum cos' it's about S$10 more! But still super cheap... I saved about S$40 in all for these Laneige stuff.
Cute keychains for classmates!
Went clothes crazy at Migliore mostly at Dongdaemun! I bought 3 pairs of obsidian blue(not navy!) culottes(which are shorts that look like skirts!), 1 dress, 1 peasant skirt(for S$12!) and 2 blouses! Spent only about SG$200?
Bought her the Teddy Bear Museum(much smaller than the one in Jeju though! Haven't named her!)
Ok this is exciting! We all know the cool denims from Evisu right? Like the ones from Puma that costs $200-$300+! But because Japan let Korea manufacture them. So this very pair i bought with gold studs on the back pockets, in a very pretty indigo wash and the perfect leg length only costs about S$98!!! OMFG!!! Even Levi's are not so cheap! I'm gonna wear them frequently!!! And plus my jeans size hasn't changed, which is good since i'm so fugly fat now!
I didn't buy any back, but boy... It was 3 donuts worth of heavenly goodness! (4 of us shared half a dozen. don't ask why i had 3!) Super fresh, and melted in the mouth... *mmm* I'm salivating now!!!
No more shopping pics!
This is at Yong Pyong. The place where Winter Sonata was shot(i hate Bae Yong Jun!!!) Too bad it's not winter!!!

Mount Sorak. Bad weather as you can see. Didn't get to take the cable car(hence the gondola ride at Yong Pyong).

Teddy Bear Farm!!!

The Little Prince(in Saint Exupery's book!)
Swan Lake(oh so cute!!!)
Aww i love BEARS!!!
Peak Island at Yong Pyong. Water theme park with different colored hot baths! I wore my black ballet lycra leotard because i couldn't find my stupid Speedos! *grr* I realised i got a tan mark just from soaking in the outdoors hot baths!

Everland! 1st destination after flight. Everyone was tired and cranky. Plus it was a Sunday. NIGHTMARE. So many kids, so many irritating adults... But the safari was GOOD!!!

Isn't this a bear? My dumb sis insists that it's a panda. Like WTF???
This is a very smart and cute bear!
A 'Liger'. Not very obvious huh...
White tiger!!!

The lions are way too cute!
I admit that i was being a bitch during the trip because i really find my parents very odd, especially on trips. They act in a very peculiar manner which i fail to comprehend at all!!! *hmm*
But anyways, we stayed 1 night at the resort at Mount Sorak. NIGHTMARE. They call it resort, but it's something like our chalets, just that we use tatamis as beds, and they have all kitchen utensils, and a bathroom with towels and all. When Sam and i opened the room door... *jaw* The room looks exactly like the one in Ju On. CREEPY. And it totally reminded me of the scene where the lady is disturbed with the incessant banging sound, of which she can't find the origin. In the end it was really a dead body hanging from the ceiling, with Toshio pushing the body, causing it to create the banging sound. YIKES. That has to be the worse hotel stay in my life, even though i wasn't alone.
And on the last 2 nights in Seoul, the TV turned on by itself at the same time in the morning, with B&W static(when we were watching CNN the night before!!!). But bro tells me it might be an alarm. This is more rational la. But still...
I had a quite a bad time with my joints there... :( Doesn't help with the walking, climbing and going up and down the bus! My hips were the worse, but they calmed down near the end, so i'm good with that...
I still have yet to fully unpacked. Still can't decide what to give who. BTW, no school this coming week because NYP has cleverly decided to do home-based learning!!! So no school, but have to log-in in the evening. Haha! Can watch movies and go out! Yay!!! I can't wait to wear my new clothes!
