2 weeks more!

Ok. I survived 2 weeks in an onco ward. Admittedly, i'm quite relucatant to leave 58 because i can learn so much from the nurses; not so much from practicing the new things we learnt in school though. So very grateful for 2 staff nurses who took time to teach me- pity they're not on duty today! So i told our lecturer, who told sister to thank them. :) I don't mind working in this ward when i graduate, seriously! Oncology was 1 of my options, among paediatrics, medical(rheumatology, but this is only sparsely in medical), palliative etc... Lecturer gave me a good 'appraisal', but i don't trust their words because things will always turn out the opposite. *sigh* And she asked me if i'm more mature than my peers(ie. older)... Wth la! I'm only 19! 1 year older than most only! Heh... I don't know if that's good or bad...

Obstetrics and Gynaecology next 2 weeks! *aargh* Don't know what to expect! 3 weeks in medical ward during hols... Supposedly an isolation ward, ie. 1 patient per room. So i don't know what to expect too. 3 weeks break, before starting in the ward. Then 1 week off before starting school/clinicals. *sigh*

Seasonal periods of pain again! Last week it was knees, shoulders, elbows, wrist. This week it's my feet, ankles, and maybe knees again after about 1 week free of knee pain... I think 4 more weeks to see my rheumy. *aargh* Can't tahan!

Teaching kids again. Trying not to dread it. I don't like to teach a class of 3-4. I'd rather have 10 girls altogether...
