We went to Dubai again and wow-ed at al the magnificent buildings created by the same company which brought a new wave of financial trouble. We saw the famous 'Sail' hotel- the Burj Al Arab, which has VERY tight security. And then we also saw the huge Atlantis which was featured in The Amazing Race. It's on the Palm Jumeirah, and island in the shape of a palm. It's LRT is operated by SMRT. :) We shopped at Mall of the Emirates too. You know... The malls here are abundant and MASSIVE. We usually only get to shop 1.5-2 hours at each location to maximise our time, and end up only walking into no more than 10 shops... I'm a little sick of shopping now that i've burst my budget, and i'm allocating the rest of my $ to buying gifts home...
