What a relief for now. Actually, i'm glad i didn't spend the whole of last night studying for the theory test today. I read my notes through, plus my text once, and the paper was to me, okay-ish. It wasn't too bad, but the MCQs were a little tougher than the open-ended questions.
One thing i regretted- why did i write EXTRAVASATION as one of my answers for IV complications? I did write phlebitis, infiltration, circulatory overload and pulmonary edema. But i lacked one more answer, and my only solution was to write extravasation, which i mostly learnt from the clinical setting in the oncology wards. Seriously, i have no idea what is the nursing management for it! I only recall one or two points, but even that isn't substantial. *stab* WHY WHY WHY!!!
We've paid for the UK study trip!!! :) It'll be in mid-March, and i'll most probably be extending about 3 nights, all for myself to explore! If i do manage to extend my stay, i plan to hop on Eurostar to visit Paris, maybe go see the Stone Henge upclose, Edinburgh if ambitious enough, and the rest will be spent on London watching a musical in West End, and walking around, visiting the ballet shops and Royal Opera House. I'm peeved that i'll miss Kirov Ballet's R&J with my favourite Obraztsova dancing. The last show is just 3 days before the date that i can make it! :( *crosses fingers* Hope that everything can be booked successfully!
