There's crazy sales everywhere! It's the perfect time to buy a coat for my trip to London. It's gonna be quite cold there, and i'm not gonna suffer like i first did in Stratford-upon-Avon! Zara and Warehouse have good ones at a disocunted price!!!
I bought 3 items from F21! 1 obsidian sweater in the make of a motorcyle jacket, 1 obsidian dress and 1 black dress. 3 in all for about $100 odd. I LOVE THEM! I bought a pair of pants from Puma, but i kinda regret it now, though it's very well tailored. *sigh* $90 for it! I could've used that money to buy the coat! Oh wells.
I went for my annual eye check up which i hate so badly. Annual eye check ups for required because of the drug HCQ that i'm on- it can cause retinopathy. The reason why i hate it is because of the inconveniences and pain that it brings about! They dilate my pupils which render reading almost impossible and having blur vision for about 6 hours. Plus, when the doctor visualizes the retina, it's so PAINFUL because the light shone is so bright and my pupils don't constrict. *AARGH* Very torturous you know! Oh, i was peeved because it was discovered that i need to change my glasses because the power increased. WTF! I got my new lenses too you know! *sigh* I shall put that aside. I'm wearing contact lens after all!
I filled my prescription after the check-up, and double checked with the pharmacist regarding the use of analgesics with elevated ALT. She was really blur, but also ruled out paracetamol as a definite no-no. I asked about diclofenac and she said the same thing as my pharmacology lecturer- the kidneys are more of an issue. So i went "Good!". I later received a phonecall from her telling me that diclofenac should also be avoided because it can affect the liver. What now?
Actually, never underestimate a pharmacist's knowledge because they know A LOT. Enough for me to be in awe. :)
