Hello. Finally posting after 2 days... Last 2 days have been a little tough.
Our ward for these 2 weeks is an onco ward with very different policies, protocols and methods of doing things. A bit of a 'culture shock'. But we have very nice nurses here, and a good lecturer with us. Sadly, i'm not in an air-conditioned cubicle!!! :(
Mum was admitted via A&E on Monday evening after i was home from shift. She had a transient ischaemic attack(minor stroke). So for the last 2 days, i have been spending about 12 hours in NUH, including shift... But thank goodness she was discharged last night.
Have got very nice patients, but also patients who threaten us and criticise us. :\ But heck. 2 days left for the week.
So many new drugs, so many foreign terms for us due to it being an onco ward... I've been lazy in checking up terms!
Ciao! Will prolly blog again after teaching on Saturday...

hah. my mum is fine. still can kick up a fuss with me and say that 'i don't think you'll be sad when i die'.
like what the fuck right? hello i was the one who packed her medications when she was warded, and i spent extra time to accompany her even after my shift and spent like more than 12 hours in NUH.
she only noe how to talk bull... tt's why i talk bull abt her.
