We had our last day with our CI yesterday. :( Glad she liked our gift to her! I actually feel very inspired by our CI because she knows so much and to put it simply, she is such a good nurse! Sighsies. Such a pity that we couldn't spend more time with her to learn even more! But i think she struggled a lot with us because we're a 'tough' group to take(you can't imagine how much tears and laughter there was)! Anyhows, we have another CI with us who's also very nice and funny. ;)
Another 3 more days in the ward. I would say i learnt a tremendous amount of things in this ward, and i woud actually consider coming back to the oncology ward for my PRCP. ;) And i know it sounds freaky, but i am actually excited to become a staff nurse. Quite contrary to what i am supposed to feel... How peculiar!
Just an update- I have an infection in my gum due to a stupid impacted wisdom tooth and saw the dentist on Sunday. Currently on Flagyl and Amoxicillin to clear it up. Gonna remove it on Saturday after teaching... MC at least 5 days, but heck. It's my last week of hols!!! Not anticipating the swelling and pain- i had a hard time after extraction for braces, what more cutting up the gum and stitching it up after that! *shudders* What a GREAT way to spend my last week of hols. *pfft*
