I seem to have real difficulty keeping to a medication regime!!! I have mentioned it before, but with the antibiotics, this is worse. OMG. I know i have to be careful, but dang it. My 'absent-mindedness' made me skip doses- not to mention the intial half doses that i took. *jaw* Thank goodness i don't do this with my patients. Amoxicillin is one nasty drug that stinks like crap. That plus SSZ makes my pee smell so bad... *pui* My period is late(which shouldn't be so as it started to be regular after Diane), get bouts of nausea and terrible episodes of flatulence. I'm too grossed out with myself now!
Anyways, another BMA was done today, and who knew, it was an APN who did instead of a doc!!! I didn't know she's an APN, and i was even wondering why she would bother to explain the procedure and what not to me, and tell me that my hair was neat. LOL. Whatever it is, she was real quick with the BMA, twice as fast as the MO and registrar who did one on Monday. Definitely impressed and motivated to be an APN within the next 15 years(maybe i'm too ambitious). :)
2 more afternoon shifts and i'm done, and i'm crossing my fingers that we can return to school for lessons proper instead of going back to the ward again for 4 weeks. The last time we had lessons was mid-July, and that was more than 2 months ago! *aargh*
